How many accounts does one person need?

I've been wondering as of late if I should create a separate deviantart account for my photos, and keep this one purely for artwork.

It seems to me that people either like my photos, and don't care much for the artwork.. or they like the artwork, and don't care much for the photos.

I used to really enjoy having one page that was a jubilee of various styles and types of art.. all mediums together like one big happy family in one easy to access place. But now I wonder.

I'd love to hear people's thoughts and suggestions (not that there's many who will read this)!

I tend to agree with you. But then again, it would be nice to have photos separate. I wish I wasn't so indecisive.

You could always use the new gallery folders feature to separate photos and paintings. Maybe that would let you get the best of both worlds.

you are one super smart cookie. I haven't even bothered to explore the new features of deviant art. I've been too lazy. Maybe I will do that then! Hopefully its available even if we don't subscribe. Thanks!

Oh, yes. I never thought about the whole subscription thing. I hope everyone can use the new features! They are pretty cool. If not, it might be worth a subscription.... it really gets you addicted. :)

I actually don't see where to change my gallery into sections. I had a subscription once... but it ran out long ago and I just can't afford the luxury :(

I find it silly when people split off their accounts into multiple ones. It seems to me that it would actually limit the amount of people who would see your whole gallery.

So some people like photos, and some people like paintings, and maybe they don't all like both. But that doesn't mean that everyone is the same; why make them work to see more?

Is it possible to sort your deviations? Then the photo lovers could click through all your photos and the art lovers could click through all your art..
